PET | REPORTAGE | ANIMALS

Every animal has its own personality and dignity, and my goal is to capture his essence in a photograph.

Here, you won’t find fake backgrounds or staged settings. I won’t take photos of your animal until we’ve made sure, together, that he feels calm and at ease.

Together, we’ll explore the bond you share, your animal’s favorite places, and the environments where he feels most comfortable. We’ll follow his rhythm, not ours.

I’ll capture his personality and unique traits. And most importantly, I’ll portray the emotions and the connection you’ve built over time.

I SEEK DEEP CONNECTIONS WITH THE ANIMAL WORLD

Through my photography, I want to give you lasting memories of your pet and the bond you’ve created together.

This is my mission. Before being a photographer, I’m an ethologist. I hold a Master’s degree in the Evolution of Animal Behavior. I feel a deep connection with the animal world, and I strive to give it a voice through photography.

Because photography is powerful. An image can move you, bring you joy, and spark empathy. In other words: photography is emotion.

MY MISSION AS AN ETHOLOGIST

In my utopian world, I wish all animals were given the same care and consideration as those we commonly call pets.

I wish we could look at them and think about how sweet they are, how important they are in our lives, and how complex they are—with their own emotions, fears, and joys.

To me, pet is a way of approaching animals with empathy.

MY PHOTOGRAPHIC APPROACH

When telling the story of the bond between humans and animals, I always try not to interrupt the spontaneity of what’s happening. My photos aren’t stiff poses, but genuine shots that capture moments of joy, love, and fun. My approach is that of photo reportage—images that tell a story and speak for themselves.

I’m not looking for perfectly polished, soft-edged, or unrealistic photos. I’m looking for real ones.

I’d be happy to photograph your animal and the connection you share, giving you an emotional visual story and a memory that will last forever.

Write to me—let’s tell your story together!

About me

My name is Cristina, and I am a Photographer and Ethologist. I tell stories of people and animals through images.

I seek emotions and deep connections with the world, capturing what is, without the need to alter reality, which is already wonderfully complex as it is.

My approach is that of photo reportage: I don’t like to drastically alter images in post-production.

My mission

Every animal has its own personality and dignity. My goal is to capture his essence in a photograph.

As a photographer, I love seeking out those deep, invisible connections that bind us to the animal world and telling their story through photography.

As an ethologist, I aim to promote animal welfare and spread a new way of approaching animals—with compassion and sensitivity.
